For homeschool families
Tonic sol-fa, at the piano
Solfège and hand signs have a long history in home and school music; Charlotte Mason families will know tonic sol-fa well. Earshed Kids brings it to the keyboard, and teaches it without you needing to read music.
A music course you can run
- Sing, sign and play, in the order Kodály teachers use.
- Folk songs and singing games, then first classics.
- Several children on one iPad, each at their own pace.
- A plain record of what each child can do, with the reason for each tick.
Paying with education savings
Some states let homeschool families spend education savings account (ESA) money on curriculum and software. Earshed Kids may be eligible in some states; we'll say which once we've been approved, and never before.
